Getting two candies in a single pack of alpenleibe ,
finding a long lost coin underneath a bed ,
feeling like the king of word after answering a simple question in class ,
finishing the class work before your pals.
Well , as you all would have figured out these are very diminutive episodes of our life but having a high impact on our daily lives. I chose to call them ' choti choti khushiyaan' . So by definition these are those occurrences in our day to day life which last for only a few seconds and are ignored by most of us. But for some cheerful folks these makes us happy as a kid.
As for me and those who choose to give life a closer look. They are able to enjoy those minute things which gives them a healthy break from our fast and competitive lives.
Here are some of those choti choti khushiyaan-
two chicks on finding out the fact that they are dressed up in same color. Lending someone your assignment to copy.
Grabbing two extra pieces of cake in a birthday party.
Giving ur seat to a beautiful girl in a metro thinking that she will ask for your number.
There are lots and lots of events happening in our individual lives. Life gives everyone chances to smile. It is upon you whether you are taking your life too seriously and afterwards blaming it on the cruelty of life . Yeah ! I choose to smile when the rain drops fall on my hair rather than making faces and grunting. I choose to smile giving my place to an old lady . I choose to be happy giving a beggar some bugs.
I choose to smile when that mad woman comes to me and ask for tea.
Let me tell you the secret of a happy life. Adopt the phrase ' choti choti khushiya ' and then try giving life a smile. Yea yea i know some of you would say , " come on ! It will make us look mad" . I am not asking to every little heck of a thing. But do smile.
I give my smile to that rainbow which smiles in the sunny sky after the rains. I also try forming that vibgyor reflection on my lab desk and then showing to everyone ," hey look its a rainbow " to this one of my friends replies ," huh! Choti choti khushiyaan " . I also smirk in return and then we both give our medicinal chemistry a hard laugh.
(Sorry sir)
:)
